Portrait Painting Workshop

Date: 26th May 2018, 8.30am for 9am start, until 2pm.

Here is a fantastic portrait painting workshop with artist Damian Osborne.  Earlier this year, Damian did an hour and a half demonstration at the Milnerton Bowling Club with the Blaauwberg Art Society. The poster above is the result of the live painting demo he did of his model, Rohan Van Der Sandt.

The Blaauwberg Art Society has organised an upcoming workshop in May. Rohan will once again be our live model and Damian will assist you in the challenging, fun and self-rewarding task of painting a portrait in one sitting.

If you have never painted in oils before, this will also be a succinct crash-course encouraging you to dispel all apprehension and realise how marvelous the medium of traditional oil painting truly is.

This is also a wonderful opportunity to learn more from Damian.  Should you be interested in the workshop, it is at the Portuguese Hall, 10 Donegal Street, Rugby, Cape Town.
